At Able to Dream, Inc. we believe that HOUSING IS HEALTHCARE! Research shows that many negative health disparities are worsened for communities that historically struggle with housing insecurity. The longer a person is without adequate housing, the higher the likelihood is that they will develop and exacerbate significant medical challenges as well as mental health disorders. Thus, we are extremely passionate about helping our clients secure and maintain safe and stable housing. Through Supported Living Coaching, we do just that. Our coaches help with everything from budgeting and bill pay, to meal prep and home maintenance. Supported Living Coaches take the anxiety away about living independently as a disabled person. An added benefit to having a Supported Living Coach is that it lessens the chances that individuals will be exploited by others in the community.

Supported Employment Coaching
Nothing makes a person feel more productive and included in their community than feeling that they have something to contribute. Work provides us with a sense of stability and purpose, and is a powerful tool for building self-esteem in young adults with disabilities. Through our Supported Employment Coaching services, we help our clients find work that is meaningful to them, and that meets some of their financial goals. This could include resume writing and editing, training interviewing skills, assistance with job applications, and securing training and education necessary for desired work. Not only do we help clients get the job, we stick with you after hire to set you up for success in keeping your job.
For those who are more business-minded, we also provide Supported Self Employment, where we help you to design, start, and run a successful small business of your own!

Specialized Mental Health Counseling
We are pleased to be able to offer a great solution to the problem that has been a severe shortage of service providers of Specialized Mental Health Counseling in Florida's Southeast Region! We offer in-person and virtual therapy to developmentally disabled and neurodivergent individuals through both the Medicaid Waiver and private pay. Individuals are screened to determine appropriateness for services offered and are then paired with their counselor based on personal preference, availability of therapist, and recommendation by Clinical Director.
Our therapists are licensed by the State of Florida, and are skilled in treating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, and many other mental health conditions.
We are also able to offer assessments for Emotional Support Animals, Pre-Marital Counseling, assessments for Reasonable Accommodations Requests, and WPATH Consultations for HRT for our friends who identify as trans.
We are LGBTQ+ competent and affirming.
personal supports & respite services

These are in-home supports for anything from physical/ personal care assistance to supervision and companionship. These services will look very different from person-to-person, and will depend on the specific needs of the individual and/ or family.
Personal Supports are for individuals 21 years of age and older.
Respite is for young persons as young as 3 up to 21 years of age.
